I'm home in Toronto now and met with an orthopaedic surgeon yesterday. Looks like I've got two fractures in my shoulder that will need a pretty aggressive operation, hopefully late next week. The first break is in my humerus - in the x-ray, it's the top-right corner of the long bone in my arm. The other fracture is just above where the mouse cursor is, in a section called the glenoid. That curving white line is supposed to be connected, so they'll have to go in and set the lower piece in place, then fit it with some screws to keep it there. Medical science is cool.
I've been getting well wishes from people I haven't spoken to in years, which has been really nice. I appreciate you guys reaching out. It's lots of one-handed couch time for me, anybody have some reading/movie/tv/netflix recommendations??
