Last night I had the pleasure of having my image printed to pixels by local photographer Zach Atwell. He was shooting a series of portraits, and a mutual friend brought me out to the NSCAD studio where he was working, before we all left for some delicious late-night thai.
I checked out Zach's works on tumblr when I got back and urge you to do the same - he's got a heavy talent in capturing the textures and shapes of the world around him, often imposing a sort-of rigidness to the monolithic forms and bodies that he finds. I especially like his shots of wide, bleak landscapes, and the sense of impossibly weighted empty space that they carry. I included a few of my favourite shots below (click 'em to enlarge).
